Is Grapes safe in pregnancy?
Generally safe
Yes — safe and a useful source of hydration.
What the evidence says
Grapes are safe throughout pregnancy. Wash thoroughly before eating to remove pesticide residues. Both red and white varieties are fine, as are raisins (concentrated source of iron).
Why this matters
Grapes provide water, natural sugars, and some vitamins. The only consideration is washing to remove agricultural chemicals on the skin.
